American Apartment Owners Association to Recruit Landlords and Other Income Property Owners with Major Membership Drive in January
Membership drive will provide landlords with support for services including tenant screening, financing, insurance and other property management needs.
(PRWEB) December 6, 2005
Landlords and property owners will soon find support and discounts on property management services like tenant screening and insurance — American Apartment Owners Association announces that its major membership drive will kick off in January.
The largest apartment owners association in the country will be starting off the new year with a membership drive for landlords and other income property owners needing property management support and discounts on services. The American Apartment Owners Association boasts a nationwide membership of landlords, managers and property management companies. Its current members enjoy discounts on tenant screening, financing, insurance and a vast array of products and services.
“As we expand our membership base, we expand our level of discounts and group buying,” claims David Edwards, Director of Member Services for AAOA.
Over the years, the AAOA has responded to member needs with a contractor directory of nearly 20,000 contractors, material suppliers and professionals offering services at discounted rates.
“As a member driven organization, we respond to the needs of landlords by providing the current legal forms, relevant daily real estate investment news and an open forum for advice on issues confronting them on a daily basis,” claimed Edwards.
The membership drive targeted to begin in January 2006 is only the latest effort by the American Apartment Owners Association to embrace all income property owners.
“We have always been sensitive to the costs involved in successfully managing rental property,” said Edwards.
Over the years, AAOA has always worked hard to keep its annual membership dues as low as possible. The new membership drive will not reflect any increase in the current rate. Edwards went on to explain that the mission of AAOA is to establish a single resource for property management support to be available to landlords of apartment buildings and smaller rental properties without the burden of additional expense.
“Our role is to help the property manager or income property owner save money, save time and have a better understanding of the business of renting real estate,” said Edwards.
