What is a Notice of Right to Inspection prior to Termination of Tenancy ?
A notice of right to inspection prior to termination of tenancy is given to the tenant within a reasonable time after the landlord or tenant has provided their written intent to terminate the tenancy. Similar to a notice of entry, but specifically used when the lease is terminating, this form allows the landlord to enter the rental unit and inspect the premises. It is to the landlord's advantage to inspect prior to move out so that the tenant is provided with ample time to correct any issues that may be discovered.
