Landlord Quick Tip
Tip #74: Long Good-Byes
When tenants are moving out, it’s a good idea to ask them to spend a few minutes with you reviewing their rental experience.
Find out if they are going to be renting somewhere else. Is it a move up or a lateral move?
How did they find their new apartment? When did they start looking?
How would they describe their rental experience to others?
This information can help you determine:
If you are charging the right rent.
Where you should advertise your vacancy.
Ways you can improve your service to attract and retain tenants.
